WorkTrips.com joins the Emirates Group’s growth programme

WorkTrips.com (formerly Hotailors) has been invited by the Emirates group to participate in the Intelak development program in Dubai. “Selecting a Polish startup for this program is unique, but not a surprise: Poland has some of the best developers in the world and our technology is extremely attractive to foreign partners. The development at Intelak Hub will allow us to meet potential Middle East and EMEA clients. Accelerating foreign expansion is our strategic goal this year, and the EMEA region, as well as the United States, are key areas of this development” – says Filip Błoch, co-founder and CEO of WorkTrips.com.

  • Intelak is an acceleration program which identifies innovative solutions that have a proven market fit for the Middle East tourism market;
  • The program partners include: Emirates, Microsoft, Amadeus, Accenture and Dubai Economy & Tourism;
  • WorkTrips.com is a Polish start-up that has created a SaaS solution based on artificial intelligence, which helps to book, organize, supervise and financially settle business trips;
  • In connection with the participation in the accelerator, WorkTrips.com has opened an office in Dubai.

The Intelak Accelerator includes 3-months of activities for selected participants and will provide them with the opportunity to grow and scale in the Middle East.

The Middle East is all about travel

Arab countries are increasingly betting on tourism and are also growing as business hubs. Subsequently, the demand for the development of business travel throughout the region is also growing.

Dubai has been building its position as a leader in aviation and travel for many years. That is why the Emirates Group (which also includes Emirates Airlines) initiated the development of the Intelak accelerator. Its goal is to identify start-ups with interesting, ready-to-implement solutions in the travel industry. The content partners of the program are global giants: Microsoft, Accenture and Amadeus as well as Dubai Economy & Tourism.

Intelak focuses on companies that already have a well-established direction of development and are keen to enter new markets. Companies selected to participate in the accelerator will have the opportunity to implement their business solutions throughout Dubai as well as participate and present at GITEX Future Stars – the most important tech event in the region and one of the most important in the world.

WorkTrips.com is focusing on expansion

Although Acceleration programs are mainly associated with early stage start-ups, they can also be of benefit when scaling. WorkTrips.com (still as Hotailors) won a place at the SAP iO.Foundry San Francisco acceleration program in 2019. Participation in this program made the WorkTrips.com tool available to users of SAP solutions – over 425,000 companies worldwide use various SAP enterprise management applications and 77% of all global transactions are carried out by companies operating in the SAP environment.

Intelak is the perfect occasion for WorkTrips.com to enter the Middle East. “Participation in the Emirates Group’s acceleration program is an amazing opportunity for us to present our solution to their travel market” – says Filip Błoch, CEO of WorkTrips.com.

“Involvement in the Intelak program fits perfectly into our foreign expansion plan,” says Michał Szekształło, Development Director and co-founder of WorkTrips.com. “The Middle East is still a new market, especially for Polish companies. We see opportunities there, so we decided to launch a local office – we can get to know the market and establish direct contacts with potential contractors” – adds Michał.

Recently, the WorkTrips.com tool gave its users access to Booking.com and introduced additional travel insurance together with AXA Partners.
