Online card payment when booking a business trip – how does it work?

Most companies value cashless transactions because they're quick and easy to record. While we offer a convenient, post-payment invoice model by default, an activated card allows for transaction settlement at the time of booking. This means each service is paid for immediately, making it easier to monitor company card limits on an ongoing basis. 

How do I enable card payments on the worktrips.com platform?

If you're interested in card payments instead of bulk billing, contact us. We'll set up this module for your company. Then, go to the "Payment Cards" tab in your worktrips.com profile and enter the following information: the cardholder's first and last name, card number, required CVC/CVV, and expiration date. If the card is saved in your profile, any services booked on the worktrips.com platform will be charged to that card. This will continue until the card is removed from your profile. Remember, you can always disable card payments by deleting it from your profile.

This can help you avoid additional currency conversion fees. Card payments enable immediate posting of transactions as they occur. Reservations paid by card will also receive invoices, but will already be marked as paid. This is ideal for companies looking to monitor travel budget utilization in real time, without waiting for a month-end consolidated statement.

Is every payment card suitable for business bookings?

worktrips.com accepts all payment cards. Most modern cards, such as debit, credit, and currency cards, will work seamlessly with the tool. If your payment card is from a modern provider such as Mastercard, Visa, or American Express, you can expect favorable exchange rates when paying in foreign currencies. Remember to check your daily payment limit with your card issuer before your first booking to avoid transaction declines.
